Amusement Advantage, Inc. has commenced a partnership with the Florida Attractions Association (FAA), based in Tallahassee, FL, to measure standards and compliance at more than 120 attractions throughout the state of Florida. As the premier guest experience solutions firm in the Theme Parks & Attractions Industry, Amusement Advantage will send guests anonymously to each attraction with specific objectives to measure three of the association’s main principals: Hospitality, Cleanliness, and Truth in Advertising.
“The variety of facilities that make up the Florida Attractions Association are truly representative of Florida’s unique and diverse tourism offerings.” Said Scot Carson, President and CEO of Amusement Advantage. With more than 120 attraction members, the Florida Attractions Association represents a wide array of Florida tourism facilities, including theme & amusement parks, water parks, zoos, museums, aquariums, family entertainment centers, boat tours, dinner shows, gardens & nature tours, and more.
Amusement Advantage will assist the FAA in understanding how their guests perceive cleanliness, hospitality, and truth in advertising and be able to make comparisons across the association as a whole. By utilizing ubiquitous criteria, Amusement Advantage will be able to objectively measure the compliance of each of these categories, regardless of the type of attraction being evaluated. Results will then be delivered at the association’s annual conference each June.
“Our member attractions will benefit greatly from the insights and feedback of Amusement Advantage,” said Bill Lupfer, President of Florida Attractions Association. “We are excited to begin this partnership and to elevate Florida’s world-class attractions to ever-higher industry standards of practice.”
Amusement Advantage is no stranger to the attractions industry, or the Florida tourism industry. The company has worked with numerous attractions throughout the state of Florida, including several FAA members, such as Universal Orlando, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Fun Spot Theme Parks, Florida Aquarium, Zoo Miami, Boomers!, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum. Last Fall, Amusement Advantage appointed Florida-based Joshua Liebman as Director of Business Development, as part of a strategy to further expand into the Florida tourism industry. Amusement Advantage is the only mystery shopping firm that works exclusively with attractions, and has been serving the industry for more than 20 years.
By solely focusing on the Attractions Industry, Amusement Advantage has built strong relationships with Cedar Fair, Palace Entertainment, Apex Parks Group, as well as more than 400 attractions across the US and Canada. The company works closely with museums, science centers, aquariums, zoos, amusement and theme parks, water parks, family entertainment centers, bowling centers, and more. More than 30,000 mystery shoppers work with Amusement Advantage in nearly every major market in the country.
“We are thrilled that we have begun this partnership and are confident that our expertise in the industry will prove to be valuable to the FAA along with the association’s members,” said Scot Carson, President and General Manager of Amusement Advantage. “We look forward to serving the FAA and further strengthen the standards of the organization, and to contribute to the success of the Florida tourism industry as a whole.”
